The animal found by Jan along the river’s edge yesterday has been deemed edible if properly cooked, according to Ecolius the Elder. He also stated, despite suggestions to the contrary, that it isn’t a new species of animal at all, pointing to its familiar beak, which he has taken to wearing around the fire. He has declared it gives him power. But I think he is just going to hurt himself.

Incidentally,

The hide has been stripped and is hanging to dry. A reminder to everyone that graffiti on community projects without consent from the board is a crime against mother nature. Let’s have a little respect for the animal.

Today’s Weather: It is still very wet outside, and the raindrops are even fatter than yesterday.

It is recommended to find and stay under a good rock if possible, through the next several hours, and there is still some room in this cave, if needed. Please wash up before coming in and feel free to use the dried leaves to towel off.

Tomorrow’s Weather: Yeah, like I have a clue.

Community Bulletin Board:

It’s getting colder, and I suspect it to just get worse

before it eventually gets better.

Still, It has been suggested that we get out early tomorrow morning and meet up early near the berry bush; the one that gave Rich the rash on his testicles and head out early for the hunt.

Items needed for sunrise.

Everyone, please bring a bag!!

Although Vito has provided those wonderful stylish bladder pouches, we need more durable solutions. Mat the Patient One has been kind to share and has cleverly come up with a way of linking reeds together. His plan is to use these flat sheets to help carry items. There is a bright future out there and I call on all of us to ignite ourselves in creativity. That ox I carried back last week with Lurch was much easier after Sam suggested we strap that thing to his back.

it is demanding to be a hunter gatherer if you forget your bags. I can’t keep making them for you. For mother nature’s sake please recycle. Reuse that bag.

Snacks: keep in mind that too many nuts in your pockets make climbing difficult and the clatter is likely going to scare the animals away. Although much appreciated, Anusa’s idea of storing an extra one stone, is no longer being recommended
